Fabulous ‘CSM Learning Studio’ staff workshop: a focus on 4D!

What goes on in there?

What goes on in there?

The Learning Studio is a community of practice around learning technology use in Art and Design within UAL. It is open to anyone to join and participate, whatever your role or current use or experience of learning technology. The approach is very informal and the event is aimed at non-expert users.

On Thursday 21 March at 3pm we are holding CSM’s next workshop on using digital technologies for learning and teaching.  This special interactive Learning Studio will focus on all the activites that the 4D Department here at CSM offers.
There will be contributions from our 4D specialists in:

  • Post Production (Film & Video)
  • Animation (3D Maya)
  • Interactive & Screen-based Design
  • Web & Open Source
  • Physical Computing
  • Print Production

The convivial hands-on breakout sessions will give colleagues experience of areas such as physical computing and animation.

Unlike previous sessions, this event is not a drop-in, and will start promptly at 3.00pm.

This workshop will provided staff with an overview of all the ways in which their students might engage with the 4D workshop, and it provides the chance to try out some things yourself – experiment, learn, and enjoy yourself!

Where: 4D Workshop J206

When:  3-5pm on Thursday 21 March 2013 – starting promptly at 3.00pm.
